Halibut fishing tours run daily across summer at most coastal ports. Seward, Valdez and Homer are well known halibut fishing towns. Salmon fishing day tours often target king salmon while they are running in any of the popular fishing rivers.

Katmai National Park is home to approximately 2,000 Alaskan grizzly bears. Brown bear and salmon are very active in Katmai. A bear viewing platform is located on the edge of Brooks Falls and you can expect to see bears catching salmon while standing at the top of Brooks Falls. A tour to Brooks Falls is a must for those wanting to view these wonderful creatures in their natural habitat.

Tours taking a day or stretching across several days to view highlights of the Marine Inland passage include those to Glacier Bay and the spectacular fjord Tracey Arm.
